Patrick D. A. Webb, Director of Photography, with a vintage cine camera. Trondheim, Norway.

For over a decade I have worked behind the camera as a Director of Photography — and, where a project calls for it, as director — shooting feature documentaries, narrative films, commercials, and music videos across Norway, Scandinavia, and internationally. I bring a consistent eye for light, composition, and story to every production, from an intimate documentary to a large commercial shoot. Every film, TV series, and commercial production needs images that sell the story before audiences ever see a frame of footage. That is the work of a unit stills photographer — a role that demands someone who understands both the craft of a great image and the discipline of working invisibly inside a live production.

I document film sets, TV productions, and commercial shoots with the same precision and visual intent I bring to all my work. My background across commercial photography, cinematography, and brand content means I read light, composition, and narrative instinctively — and I understand what a producer, publicist, or marketing team actually needs from a set of stills.
